Job summary

Far West Federal Holding, LLC seeks a Senior Contract Analyst to provide on-site contract and procurement support at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role applies extensive Federal and DoD acquisition expertise across the lifecycle, delivering compliant, timely acquisition products.

The analyst will work independently, coordinate with government personnel, and may guide other acquisition staff while ensuring authoritative, non-inherently governmental guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, organization, or a qualifying combination of these fields is preferred.
• At least 10 years of specialized acquisition or contracting experience and DAWIA Contracting Level III certification, current DoD Contracting Professional Certification, FAC-C Professional certification, or another equivalent.
• Outstanding operational and managerial resource experience and subject-matter expertise in acquisition-life-cycle areas.
• Proven leadership in challenging management or team-lead roles across multiple organizations.
• Strong knowledge of acquisition techniques, price and cost analysis, and complex contracting issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support across all phases of acquisition management and the federal acquisition life cycle.
• Apply knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD directives and instructions, and other applicable laws and procedures.
• Review and analyze requirements involving purchasing, procurement, training, research, and cost analysis.
• Perform price and cost analysis using market information and established rates to assess price reasonableness.
• Conduct fact-finding, analyze problems, identify risks, and develop corrective-action recommendations.
• Provide expert technical advice, coordination, and guidance on acquisition-process improvements.
• Support development of acquisition strategies, requirements documents, solicitations, and evaluation materials.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, program managers, CORs, legal counsel, and financial personnel.
• Maintain audit-ready acquisition records and provide status reporting.
• Maintain clear contractor status and ensure non-inherently governmental boundaries.
