Job summary

The Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) in Phoenix, is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee complex state contracts and ensure compliance with procurement laws. This role leads staff, manages amendments, and coordinates with attorneys general recommendations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 2 years contract management and 5 years leadership, strong writing and policy development skills, and a commitment to service,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in Contract Management and 5 years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing Federal and/or State programs and contracting processes.
• Knowledge of procurement laws, rules, andAHCCCS related contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to staff in contract management and performance.
• Manages the Division's qualified agreements, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Develops program policies to ensure contracting aligns with procurement laws.
• Produces detailed legal reports with supporting evidence for leadership.
• Collaborates on strategic plans and procurement projects across divisions.
