Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Content Writer within the C&O Associate Insight, Media and START Team. You will craft impactful communications for Ambassadors and Associates, covering operations, marketing, and knowledge management content while upholding brand voice.

You will edit, curate stories, and collaborate across audiences, Legal, Risk and Compliance, and Agile teams to deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of writing for digital channels including email, newsletters, web pages, articles, video, or knowledge management platforms.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Google Suite products.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications preferred.
• 4+ years of marketing copywriting, technical writing, or creative writing experience preferred.
• 4+ years of writing in retail or banking environments preferred.
• 1+ year of Agile experience preferred.
• 6+ months of CMS experience (Chariot or similar) preferred.
• 6+ months of process documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write and format operational communications, intranet articles, stories, and video content.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk and Compliance to ensure accurate, compliant messaging.
• Publish copy across newsletters and intranet channels.
• Support START intakes and maintain the START backend updates.
• Contribute to branch and café communications, elevating the associate experience.
