Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or 3 years with a PhD.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, public affairs, science communication, engineering, technology policy, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with publication-ready content under tight timelines.
• Experience translating technical information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
• Strong AI acumen and ability to apply AI tools to accelerate product development.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of employee communications technology, content management, digital signage, intranets, and analytics.
• This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce science or technical content for digital platforms (websites, social media, multimedia).
• Translate complex findings into compelling content across formats and reading levels.
• Interview subject matter experts to capture narratives and impacts.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate product development and improve workflows.
• Define and track measures of communications effectiveness (engagement, readiness, content reuse).
