Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking a strategic content leader to guide multi-channel fundraising content. The role focuses on translating complex research and medical information into donor-engaging materials, leading content strategy, and collaborating with writers, designers, and project teams to drive revenue and donor engagement.

Hybrid work from Memphis is available. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience, strong proofreading/editing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or more than seven (7) years of experience.
• Knowledge of proofreading, editing, creative writing, communications, and/or marketing.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of English spelling, grammar, and usage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal and external audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Content Leadership: develop content strategies for fundraising materials and lead writing for donor-focused materials.
• Strategy, Research & Analysis: analyze data to guide content direction and monitor market trends.
• Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with writers, designers, producers, and managers across teams.
• Content Quality & Execution: review and revise content for accuracy and consistency before deployment.
• Advisory, Coaching & Team Support: train and guide writers to generate revenue- and lead-generating content.
• Organizational Impact: ensure alignment with business goals and strengthen fundraising efforts for St. Jude.
