Job summary

Animalz is seeking a Senior Content Marketer to own content quality for major accounts and lead a writing‑first approach. About 70% of your time will be researching and writing high‑quality content tailored to each customer, across blogs, guides, landing pages, and campaigns.

You'll also manage freelance writers, maintain content calendars, and ensure feedback is reflected across all outputs, collaborating with a small team and larger marketing partners.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in content marketing with ≥2 years in B2B SaaS.
• Exceptional writing ability with publication-ready output.
• Ability to plan content into a larger campaign arc.
• Strong editorial judgment to catch quality issues early.
• Experience briefing/editing/managing freelancers or teammates.
• Clear, trustworthy communication with customers.
• Experience working with enterprise-sized customers and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficient use of AI tools to support workflow.
• Curiosity about how software products work and write about them.

Responsibilities

• Write high‑quality content across blog posts, guides, landing pages, and more.
• Contribute to a full campaign formats, including thought leadership and emails.
• Shift between long-form executive voice and conversion copy as needed.
• Review all pieces before delivery; final on‑account content owner.
• Turn campaign plans into coordinated assets that tell one story.
• Manage freelance writers, draft briefs, and maintain brand guides.
• Collaborate with larger marketing teams to maintain momentum.
• Address customer feedback promptly and track it to avoid repetition.
• Communicate deliverables, timelines, and revisions with customers.
• Contribute to performance reporting and learnings for clients.
• Use AI thoughtfully where it adds value, with human judgment on craft.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team initiatives.
