Job summary

Animalz is hiring a Senior Content Marketer to own and craft high-quality content for enterprise clients. You’ll write substantial content yourself and guide a small account team to ensure consistency, quality, and on-brand work across blog posts, guides, and campaigns.

You’ll lead editorial reviews, manage freelance writers, and coordinate with wider marketing teams while applying thoughtful AI assistance where appropriate and keeping customer needs at the forefront of every project.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in content marketing with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS
• Exceptional writing ability: publication-ready content with minimal revisions
• Campaign thinking: connect pieces into a larger arc
• Range as a writer: comfortable with long-form and short-form copy
• Strong editorial judgment: explain why drafts work or don’t
• Experience working with other writers: briefs, edits, or management
• Customer communication: clear, responsive, trustworthy with customers
• Experience with larger customers: enterprise accounts, multiple stakeholders
• AI fluency: use AI tools responsibly and stay current

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality content across multiple formats for enterprise customers
• Manage freelance writers and maintain content calendars
• Review all pieces before delivery, serving as final editor
• Turn campaign plans into coordinated asset sets
• Coordinate with teams to ensure brand consistency and approval timelines
• Provide briefs to writers and maintain brand guides and assets
• Collaborate with larger marketing teams and stakeholders
• Incorporate customer feedback and iterate on content
• Communicate deliverables, timelines, and revisions with customers
• Contribute to performance reporting and learnings from campaigns
• Use AI thoughtfully and judiciously with craft-driven judgment
• Share knowledge and contribute to team initiatives
