Job summary

Animalz is a fully remote content marketing agency serving B2B SaaS and tech clients. We seek a Senior Content Marketer who writes deeply, guides freelance writers, manages content calendars, and ensures high-quality output across accounts.

You’ll balance original research with AI-enhanced workflows and collaborate with a small client-facing team to drive measurable results. You’ll own content quality, contribute to strategy, and mentor teammates while maintaining strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS.
• Exceptional writing ability with publication-ready content and adaptable voice.
• Strong editorial judgment to catch quality issues before customers see them.
• Deep SEO knowledge including keyword research, on-page optimization, audits, and competitive analysis.
• Growing fluency in AI-driven search and how to surface content in AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality content designed to rank, incorporating keyword research and audience understanding.
• Review all client deliverables before reaching customers; final editorial gate.
• Refresh and optimize content to improve rankings and visibility across search and AI discovery.
• Diagnose performance issues using analytics tools and recommend improvements.
• Manage freelance writers, briefs, and brand guides for client accounts.
