Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking an experienced instructional designer to develop and manage digital learning content. You will collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create polished eLearning modules, microlearning assets, and videos using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe tools.

You’ll own content from storyboard to publish, ensure accessibility, and maintain brand standards across materials while optimizing workflows and analytics-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in digital learning content development or related field.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) with ability to build interactive eLearning from storyboards.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
• Strong visual design instincts and sense of layout, typography, color.
• Experience managing content within an LMS; uploading, publishing, testing, and troubleshooting SCORM/xAPI content.
• Exceptional attention to detail in editing, proofreading, and visual review.
• Ability to manage multiple production projects, meet deadlines, and communicate status.
• Experience developing content for diverse audiences with varying educational backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on content development tools, techniques, and trends including AI-assisted content development and mobile-first design.
• Recommend improvements to production workflows, templates, and toolsets to increase quality and efficiency.
• Update and enhance training materials based on learner feedback and program changes.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers and SMEs throughout production; manage revision cycles.
• Coordinate content development tasks within timelines and escalate blockers.
• Assist in SME review sessions and track feedback and revisions.
• Manage content lifecycle within the LMS, including uploading, publishing, versioning, and archiving.
• Maintain RaceTrac’s content maturity matrix and monitor analytics for engagement and performance.
• Ensure accessibility standards for digital learning content.
