Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY seeks an experienced social content creator to ideate and deliver social-first content for home and auto ownership, family life, and insurance. You will develop concepts, produce video and static creatives, and craft assets for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more.

The role involves planning shoots, editing videos, writing scripts and post copy, and collaborating with teams while reporting to the Associate Content Director, Social.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 4+ years minimum experience in social content creation.
• Deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and multicultural audiences.
• Experience creating social content for home ownership, auto ownership, insurance, family life, or preparedness.
• Experience with social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta.

Responsibilities

• Ensure creative excellence while collaborating with teammates and clients.
• Work as an individual contributor reporting to the Associate Content Director, Social.

Requirements

• Must be US based
• Must list social media handles or portfolio
• 4+ years minimum experience
• Bachelor's in advertising, Marketing or related field required; equivalent experience in a relevant field accepted in lieu of degree
• Deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and multicultural audiences
• Experience creating social content for home and auto ownership, insurance-related topics, family life, or preparedness
• Experience with social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta
• Copywriting experience for write-ups, art copy, scripts, and post copy
• Experience creating content for multiple brands with varied outputs and timelines
• Video production experience including shot planning, shooting, and editing
• Comfortable shooting on an iPhone
• Video editing skills
• Experience shooting in a lit studio environment
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Illustrator
• Comfortable with styling and appearing behind and in front of the camera
