Position Summary:
The Content Creator will create, curate and syndicate content to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion rates for assigned clients. The Content Creator will plan, shoot and edit content, ensuring it is clear, compelling and properly distributed across all platforms adhering to a consistent brand philosophy. This is an integrated role that will work with specialists across the agency to bring to life brand strategies through tactical execution, including lo-fi photography, videography and editing. The ideal candidate is an expert in brand messaging and best-practices to deliver key messages tactically across mediums.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Content planning, including pre- and post-production tasks for lo-fi content shoots
- Lead content brainstorm sessions and manage deliverables on all assigned accounts
- Collaborate with Social Media Strategists, Marketing Strategists, Creative Designers and Copywriters to ensure content supports and strengthens user experience and meets outlined objectives
- Generate scripts, shot lists, storyboards, wardrobe recommendations and prop lists for lo-fi content production
- Collaborate on art direction for lo-fi content production
- Manage raw footage and file organization for lo-fi content
- Content creation, including creating engaging, eye-catching and high-quality content for social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X and Threads
- Photography
- Lo-fi videography, including filming on iPhone
- Photo and lo-fi video editing
- Execute best practices in brand messaging to deliver key messages tactically across mediums
- Manage and maintain client voice across various mediums
- Professionally interact with clients on set
- Trend monitoring, including staying informed about current social trends to create relevant and timely social media content
- Social media management, collaborating with Social Media Strategists and Social Media Coordinators to execute holistic owned content strategies
- Development of social media content calendars, including copy
- Community management
- Content publishing and scheduling
Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred (Strategic Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, Film or Public Relations).
- 2-5 years of social media or agency experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Must be skilled in content creation, including photography, iPhone videography and photo and video editing
- Must be skilled in basic lighting, composition and staging for lo-fi content creation
- Must have the ability to compellingly communicate a brand’s story
- Must have the ability to maintain client voice
- Must have an extensive understanding of social platforms and how to tailor content to different stages of the marketing funnel
- Must be a standout idea generator and problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be creatively-minded and forward-thinking
- Must have high-level communications skills, both internal and client-facing
- Must have organizational skills and the ability to plan and maintain multiple clients, projects and deadlines
- Must have the ability to work within teams in a fast-past environment while maintaining a problem-solving attitude

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PPT and Excel
