Job summary

Childhelp is seeking a Senior Content Marketing & Communications Manager to drive content strategy across the website, email, blog, and executive communications. You will translate complex, sensitive topics into clear, actionable content and oversee editorial workflows.

The role requires strong writing, SEO expertise, and the ability to ghostwrite for the COO and other leaders, while coordinating with program teams, fundraising, and PR partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, PR, or related field.
• 5+ years in content marketing, communications, or editorial strategy.
• Exceptional writing, editing, research, and interviewing skills.
• Experience ghostwriting for executives.
• Strong portfolio across blogs, newsletters, website, op-eds.
• Hands-on SEO experience and content performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an integrated editorial calendar for emails, blog, website, PR, and campaigns.
• Identify compelling stories and translate them into timely external content.
• Collaborate with leaders to gather information and maintain consistent voice.
• Ghostwrite executive thought leadership and prepare materials for media.
• Lead SEO-informed content strategy, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
• Own routine website content updates and optimize pages and CTAs.
• Lead newsletter planning, writing, and distribution with cross‑team alignment.
• Support external PR agency and align messaging across channels.
