Job summary

Poker Power, a woman-led company, is hiring a senior consumer PM who will own both app and web surfaces, defining roadmap, requirements, analytics, and research. You’ll work directly with the founder and partner with a Product Owner to execute in a small team where you drive weekly value and executive access.

You’ll lead retention and engagement metrics, instrument analytics, run user research, and own ASO.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in consumer product management with substantial mobile experience on iOS/Android.
• Startup background: small team, no dedicated research/PM layer.
• You’ve owned retention, activation, or engagement metrics for a consumer product.
• Ability to ship meaningful work weekly while maintaining analysis velocity.
• Depth in mobile retention measurement (cohorts, sources, baselines).
• Hands-on qualitative research: interviews and usability sessions.
• Clear specification craft for engineering stories and acceptance criteria.
• Working knowledge of poker to reason about game mechanics for learners.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and strategy: define app vs web roles, audiences, and sequencing.
• Write specs: user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, states and dependencies.
• Own release readiness, instrumentation, QA criteria, rollout and rollback.
• Track delivery commitments and report progress against them.
• Own app analytics, event taxonomy, dashboards, and measurement standards.
• Design and run user/interview research to explain retention drivers and churn.
• Own ASO: keywords, listing copy, screenshots, and store conversion.
• Collaborate with founder, CEO, and marketing on roadmap requests and handoffs.
