Job summary

Poker Power in Chicago is seeking a senior consumer Product Manager who will own the roadmap, requirements, analytics, and research for both app surfaces. You’ll be the sole product strategist, partnering with a Product Owner who runs sprint execution and reporting to the founder.

You’ll define what each platform is for, manage quarterly plans, and sequence work so meaningful features ship weekly. Expect hands‑on specs, release readiness, instrumentation, and close collaboration with marketing,

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in consumer product management with mobile focus.
• Startup experience from seed to Series C and small product teams.
• Owned retention, activation, or engagement metrics for a consumer product.
• Able to ship meaningful work weekly while keeping analysis in motion.
• Experience with mobile retention measurement and cohort analysis.
• Hands-on qualitative research experience, not outsourced.
• Ability to write clear specs for engineering to implement.
• Some familiarity with poker mechanics helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and strategy; define app/web roles and audiences.
• Write specs: user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, states.
• Lead analytics, instrumentation, dashboards, and retention metrics.
• Design and run qualitative research to explain user behavior.
• Own ASO and store performance alignment with roadmap.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and design on requirements.
• Present cohort performance and roadmap reasoning to founder/CEO.
