Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years of lending and/or underwriting experience.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Analyze a borrower’s credit worthiness by reviewing income verification, tax returns, financial statements, and credit reports.
• Determine if a loan application should be approved or denied within lending limits.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation and assist in loan closings.
• Review applications and recommend decisions above authority to supervisor.
