Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking a Sr. Consumer Loan Specialist to originate consumer loans, build customer relationships, and meet sales goals in a fast-paced branch environment. You will also support the Branch Manager with daily operational tasks and maintain compliance with company policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in sales, and strong communication skills. A valid driver's license and insurance licensing eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a goal oriented, incentive based sales role.
• 1+ years of experience in the consumer finance industry preferred.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work well independently, as well as a dedicated team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding employment credit check, background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Originating consumer loans while building strong customer relationships.
• Complete loan applications, proposals and offers for new borrowers.
• Explain loan processes and products to potential borrowers.
• Close loans and assemble loan folders.
• Meet or exceed loan goals and manage a growing loan portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle branch operations tasks and daily deposits.
