Job summary

The position combines leadership with hands-on underwriting oversight, focusing on efficient pipeline management and team development within a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years underwriting experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of mortgage process and mortgage documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Consumer underwriting and ensures high loan quality.
• Maintains exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.
• Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manages pipeline and communicates policy updates and trends to team members.
• Mentors staff, conducts performance reviews, and coaches for improvement.
• Addresses consumer concerns and ensures timely issue resolution.
