The role focuses on advising clients across mortgage lending, consumer finance, and commercial finance, with emphasis on FinTech and bank partnerships.

The candidate will ensure state licensing compliance and navigate key financial services laws and enforcement actions, working with money services businesses and payment systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial services regulatory and compliance.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on mortgage lending and servicing, consumer finance, and commercial finance.
• Provide guidance on BNPL and EWA.
• Assist with FinTech products and bank partnership models.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and key financial services laws and regulations.
• Engage in enforcement actions and work with money services businesses and payment systems.
