Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Consumer Experience Design Manager to lead the design of patient and caregiver journeys, partnering with local and system-level stakeholders to scale the new vision. You will conduct design research, analyze data, map journeys, and drive transformational strategies that enhance experiences across Memorial Hermann.

Ideal candidates have healthcare exposure, strong project management, and Lean Six Sigma awareness; familiarity with Epic is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Social Science or related area; Master’s preferred.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of clinical workflows are highly valued.
• Proven ability to lead design research, map journeys and influence leadership.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient and caregiver feedback to identify pain points.
• Map experiences and processes; facilitate cross-functional workshops.
• Design future-state experiences and present opportunities to executives.
• Lead consumer testing and build the business case for scaling across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive patient-centered problem solving.
