Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential Financial, is seeking a Consumer ABS credit researcher within the Securitized Products group. You will analyze transaction collateral, monitor the Consumer ABS portfolio, and help shape strategy while collaborating with ABF and ABS teams.

You will contribute to risk assessment, valuation, and internal credit ratings, using data-driven tools and ESG considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 4–7 years in fixed income, securitized products, or consumer finance.
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills with exposure to Consumer ABS.
• Proficiency in Excel; ability to handle large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to capital deployment strategies across Consumer ABS sectors.
• Present and support investment research and relative value ideas.
• Engage with issuers' executives to analyze business models and finances.
• Assess issuer performance using macro trends to inform risk/return.
• Develop analytical tools and visualizations for risk insights.
• Monitor ESG integration and document ESG engagements.
• Track portfolio positions to evaluate credit risk and opportunities.
