Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) Securitized Credit team seeks a research analyst to conduct fundamental analysis on ABS and non-agency RMBS, developing investment opinions and supporting portfolio strategies.

The role combines quantitative and qualitative research, building models, and communicating buy/sell ideas to investment teams, with cross-functional collaboration across PMs and desks. Strong coding skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of securitized credit experience across one or more sub-sectors.
• Proficiency with Intex and/or Trepp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with concise delivery under time constraints.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sector and issuer due diligence and track trends to form investment recommendations.
• Formulate clear buy/sell recommendations for new issues and secondary markets with written opinions.
• Monitor market themes to identify compelling investment opportunities.
• Conduct surveillance to identify risks and enhance surveillance tools.
• Develop models to enhance equity or real estate-related asset analysis and forecast performance.
• Aggregate and analyze large data sets to develop and test investment opinions.
• Build relationships with portfolio managers, investment specialists, issuers, rating agencies, and brokers.
