Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Consultant in Boston to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise automation projects on the Appian platform. You will guide cross-functional teams, shape integration strategies, and ensure client success through hands-on technical leadership.

You’ll mentor junior consultants, design robust data models, and collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate platform adoption within complex government and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development or technical implementation consulting.
• Proven passion for mentoring others and experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations.
• Foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, database design, and SQL.
• Travel willingness to support customer engagements (up to 20% annually).

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across full lifecycle, designing and implementing automation on the Appian platform.
• Mentor junior consultants and foster technical excellence in fast-paced deployments.
• Architect integrations using REST, SOAP, and JDBC with external enterprise systems.
• Drive data modeling with relational schemas in production environments.
• Collaborate in Agile environments to deliver high-value capabilities.
• Partner with technical teams and business users to drive platform adoption.
