Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) seeks a Consultant Project Engineer in the Consultant Design Bureau to manage multiple transportation projects with several consulting firms. The role directs statewide complex projects, negotiates/administrates consultant contracts, and supervises consultant work across teams.

Requires a B.S. in civil engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and Montana PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years progressively responsible experience incl. planning, design, or construction.
• 1 year supervision or team lead experience.
• Montana PE licensure required.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple transportation projects with separate consulting firms.
• Develop, direct, and monitor statewide diverse and complex projects.
• Negotiate, execute, and administer consultant contracts statewide.
• Supervise consultant work and related duties as assigned.
