Veeva is looking for senior system implementation experts to join the Professional Services team and lead implementations of our Vault Safety solution. We want innovative thinkers with deep domain expertise who are ready to challenge the status quo with new technology.

As a key member of our Professional Services team, the Senior Consultant – Safety & PV SME will work side-by-side with customers and our solution architects to implement Vault Safety. This role involves leading the overall delivery, defining and driving business processes, and guiding customers throughout the implementation programs.

This is a remote, full-time, permanent role with Veeva. It is customer-facing, with no specific work location requirement if you are near an airport and able to meet future travel needs.

What You'll Do

• Lead life sciences customers in configuring and implementing Vault Safety
• Define strategies, business processes, and deployment programs for Vault Safety
• Provide expertise on Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance
• Manage resources, lead project teams, and track project progress
• Serve as primary liaison between customer and project team
• Mentor junior team members
• Represent Safety Professional Services across multiple engagement areas
• Ensure customer success throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist sales teams with scope, cost, and estimation discussions

Requirements

• 8+ years in the life sciences industry, primarily in Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Healthcare, or related fields
• Experience with safety databases like ARISg, ARGUS, or other GxP safety software solutions
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders and ensuring high project satisfaction
• Ability to quickly understand and design solutions for customer needs
• Strong knowledge of safety processes and regulations
• Experience defining global safety business processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working in ambiguous or start-up environments
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship expected)

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with safety databases like ARISg or ARGUS
• Experience in software demonstrations for pre-sales
• Proximity to major life sciences hubs (NJ, Boston, SF, Philadelphia, Chicago, RTP)

Compensation

• Base salary: $80,000 - $200,000
• Salary depends on experience and location; additional compensation may include bonuses or stock options
