Job summary

Connors Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead on-site engagements for retail and supply chain clients. You will own workstreams end-to-end, provide technical guidance, manage client relationships, and coach analysts while traveling extensively to support delivery.

You will drive time-motion studies, work measurement, cost‑benefit analyses, and engineered labor standards, delivering executive‑ready recommendations and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3-7 years’ consulting experience using Industrial Engineering principles.
• Ability to lead on-site client work in retail or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical capability with Excel modeling and PowerPoint storytelling.
• Experience mentoring analysts/consultants and traveling for client delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Lead and manage workstreams end‑to‑end with plan → analysis → recommendation → implementation.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, project management, and SME input across engagements.
• Lead onsite diagnostics, interviews, process mapping, and time‑on‑task studies.
• Coordinate with client counterparts and internal teams to align stakeholders.
• Develop future‑state processes and enabling technologies to improve performance.
• Translate analyses into actionable recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops, synthesize outputs, and present executive‑level narratives.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and support new client opportunities.
• Coach and develop junior team members; manage risks and dependencies.
• Travel extensively (typically 80–100%) across the U.S. and internationally.
