Job summary

MCA Connect is seeking a Data & AI Senior Consultant to advance data solutions for manufacturing clients. You will lead requirements, design dimensional models, and build scalable data pipelines while mentoring junior teammates and collaborating with leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include delivering Power BI reports and dashboards, managing Azure DevOps backlog, and overseeing project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Warehousing and BI with Azure data services.
• Experience designing data solutions for complex business problems.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent preferred.

Description

The Data & AISenior Consultantis responsible forbeing a partner to team members,amentor,and directly enablinggrowthof theData & AI Servicesteam at MCA. TheSr. Consultantis expected to lead project implementations, drive innovation, upskill and mentor junior teammates, and partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Within a project framework, the Data & AI SeniorConsultantis responsible for building client relationships, effectively utilizing Agile project delivery methodologies,implementingscalable and efficient technical architectures to satisfy client requirements, andperforminghands on implementations of Microsoft data solutionsfor MCAConnect’scurrent and future customers/projects.

Responsibilities

• Leadrequirementsgathering sessions and documentation of client requirements.
• Design and implement dimensional models.
• Design, build,maintain, and support complex data integration pipelines.
• Design and build Power BI Reports, Dashboards, and Apps.
• Able to present how your suggested solution will work and why it should be implemented.
• Able toidentify optimization opportunities and plan implementation.
• Mentor junior resources.
• Lead working sessions with clients.
• Lead and delegate ad hoc requests from clients.
• Troubleshoot BI solutions,identifyproblems, and improve performance and security.
• Design Azure DevOps backlog, sprints, and lead delivery.
• Oversee project team and source code.
• Obtain professional certifications to support our partner designations.
• Drives new revenue through successful delivery, client relationships, and some pre-sales support.
• LearningMaster Data Management techniques and technologies.
• LearnsData Governance processes and technologies.
• Expertisewith database and pipeline performance tuning activities.
• Must be open to ~10% travel on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Data Warehousing (Azure/SQL/Synapse/Spark/Delta Lake), ETL (ADF Pipelines/SSIS), Analysis Services,DAX,Power BI Pro and Premiumand/or equivalent.
• High level understanding ofvarious Azureclouddataplatforms and services.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data solutions for complex business problems.
• Experience working on projects involving large volumes of data, preferably inthe Manufacturingindustry.
• Demonstratedthe ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experiencepreferable.
• Knowledge ofMicrosoftERPand CRMtoolsdesirable.
• Kimball DimensionalModeling andbatch/incrementalETL developmentapproaches.
• Experiencewith database performance tuning activities.
• Experience developing and managing data quality monitoring andan understanding ofdata governancemethodologies.
• Excellent communication skillsbothwritten and verbal.
