Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant (Manager) – Talent Technology to lead and deliver medium to high‑complexity talent technology implementations for enterprise clients.

You will combine project management, functional and technical consulting, and recruitment technology expertise to design scalable solutions across multiple countries, working with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in Talent Acquisition / HR Technology consulting or implementation.
  • Proven experience delivering medium to high-complexity enterprise technology implementations or optimizations.
  • Strong experience across the full implementation lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover, training, and handover.
  • Deep SME knowledge and/or certification in at least two talent technologies.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to create practical solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end talent technology implementations or optimization projects.
  • Own functional and technical design from discovery to handover.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and risk registers.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant (Manager) – Talent Technology to lead and deliver medium to high-complexity talent technology implementation, optimization, selection, and remediation projects for enterprise clients.

This role combines project management, functional and technical consulting, recruitment technology expertise, and team leadership . You will work closely with clients, technology vendors, integration teams, and internal stakeholders to design and implement scalable talent technology solutions across one or more countries.

The ideal candidate will have deep Subject Matter Expertise across at least two talent technologies , strong implementation experience, and the ability to translate complex business and recruitment requirements into practical technology solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead one or more end-to-end talent technology implementations or optimization projects , ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Own both functional and technical design , from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation, testing, cutover, and handover.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change requests .
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, sprint planning sessions, design sessions, and project iterations.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements in partnership with clients and technology partners.
  • Design recruitment and talent processes and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
  • Advise clients on functional capabilities, technical integrations, system architecture, and technology limitations .
  • Develop clear and concise requirements, functional design, technical design, testing, training, and implementation documentation .
  • Develop test strategies and manage the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts .
  • Create and manage cutover plans and checklists for implementations and optimization projects.
  • Develop data migration strategies and support migration planning and execution.
  • Maintain deep SME-level expertise and certification in at least two talent technologies .
  • Stay current with technology vendor roadmaps, new functionality, integrations, and emerging industry trends.
  • Provide technology audit, diagnostic, and remediation expertise where required.
  • Support Consultants and Analysts with technology design, requirements, change requests, and client engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes through automation, configuration, integrations, and technology optimization .
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, HR/TA leaders, technology SMEs, vendors, integration teams, and internal teams .
  • Facilitate discussions with manager-level and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing expectations.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients and technology partners on innovation, continuous improvement, and new ways of working .
Skills & Requirements
  • Significant experience in Talent Acquisition / HR Technology consulting or implementation .
  • Proven experience delivering medium to high-complexity enterprise technology implementations or optimizations .
  • Strong experience across the full implementation lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover, training, and handover .
  • Deep SME knowledge and/or certification in at least two talent technologies .
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, and resource management.
  • Experience working with integrations and technical stakeholders , including developers and technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technology and talent acquisition processes .
  • Experience creating requirements, functional/technical design documents, test strategies, training materials, and implementation documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior client stakeholders .
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or managing Consultants and/or Analysts.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to create practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and documentation skills.

  • We are committed to pay transparency and fairness. For this role, the initial expected remuneration outside New York City is 108,300 USD-142,500 USD; and inside NYC is 124,500 USD-163,900 USD, plus applicable benefits.
