Job summary

L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a Life Sciences Senior Consultant to join its premier life sciences practice in the U.S. This role leads case teams, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with clients on strategy, market assessment, and due diligence.

Applicants bring an MBA or advanced degree or 3–5 years of senior-level experience, with strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills. The position follows a hybrid schedule with Tue–Thu in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• MBA from a renowned school or an advanced degree, or 3–5 years of relevant experience post-graduation.
• Industry knowledge of life sciences, especially biopharma/medtech/diagnostics.
• Experience across life sciences strategy, M&A topics, market assessment, and due diligence.
• Superior analytical skills with consulting approach expertise.
• Ability to motivate and coach team members; strong client management.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence, with quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Managing the case process and a junior team to address client problems.
• Designing and supervising primary/secondary research on markets and competitors.
• Developing presentations and deliverables with actionable recommendations.
• Communicating project conclusions to client senior management.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
