Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant in Strategy, Growth, and Transformation to help finance organizations modernize core processes and improve transparency. You will work with finance leaders on record-to-report and controllership challenges, delivering practical, technology-enabled solutions, and measurable value.

The role involves leading transformations across people, process, technology, and governance, with a focus on data quality, close processes, and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, FP&A, or cost accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Risk Management, or Economics.
• CPA/CIA/CFA/CA/CCA/CMA/CAIA/FRM or progression toward one credential preferred.
• Experience with automation tools (Alteryx or MS Copilot).
• Ability to travel ~50%, depending on client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assess current controllership processes, identify gaps, and define target-state opportunities.
• Develop transformation roadmaps across people, process, technology, and governance.
• Apply accounting, regulatory, and compliance requirements to finance transformations.
• Improve data, cost transparency, close/consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Lead day-to-day client delivery and contribute to proposals and recruiting.
• Collaborate with CFOs, CAOs, controllers, and treasurers to add value.
