Job summary

Deloitte in California seeks a Senior Consultant to help finance organizations modernize core processes and improve decision making within the Finance Transformation practice.

You will work on record-to-report and controllership challenges, building roadmaps and guiding transformation across people, process, and technology while managing client delivery and supporting proposals and recruiting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting, finance transformation, FP&A, or cost accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Risk Management, or Economics.
• CPA/CIA/CFA/CA/CCA/CMA/CAIA/FRM or progress toward one credential.
• Experience with automation tools including Alteryx or Copilot.
• Ability to travel ~50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Assess current controllership processes and identify gaps.
• Develop transformation roadmaps across people, process, tech, and governance.
• Apply accounting, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Design improvements in data, cost transparency, close, consolidate, and reporting.
• Manage day-to-day client delivery and aid proposals and recruiting.
