S&P Global Energy is seeking a Principal Consultant focused on critical minerals to guide market analyses, model development, and client-ready deliverables for private and public sector clients. You will manage workstreams, develop insights, and drive proposals in a high-impact energy transition practice.

The role requires autonomous work, strong mineral economics expertise, and the ability to deliver quality on time and within budget.

Formación

• Proven experience in consulting, economics or financial advisory, corporate strategy or a related analytical role.
• Strong mineral economics skills and in-depth knowledge of the metals and mining industry and critical minerals.
• Technical experience in chemical processing, process engineering, energy, or industrial value chains is highly valued.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills to structure ambiguous problems and create evidence-based narratives.

Responsabilidades

• Manage workstreams within a project under the direction of the project manager.
• Develop market analyses and forecasts across critical minerals value chains.
• Develop or maintain advanced cost, financial, market, and valuation models for minerals value chains.
• Develop client-ready insights and storylines based on data analysis and industry expertise.
• Conduct client interviews, workshops, and presentations to gather information and present findings.
• Review and provide guidance on modeling work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to business development efforts like proposals and scoping calls.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and understand client needs.
• Work autonomously in executing engagements.
