Senior Consultant - Advisory
Seasoned customer-facing consultant with established leadership skills directing a diverse team of advisory and delivery talent. Supports onsite, hands-on client engagement management by running engagement projects or workstreams. Guides day-to-day work efforts for one or more workstreams and coordinates with other workstream leaders to ensure a comprehensive solution. Acts as the primary troubleshooter for daily project issues and risks. Collaborates with the team to generate proposals, ensuring appropriate solutions, and implements decisions on the way forward, acting as a liaison between the client and the delivery team.
Focused primarily on successful delivery, but also identifies client needs and fosters good relationships and goodwill with clients. Senior Consultants maintain close contact with clients throughout the project duration as part of their official duties.
Senior Consultants require management approval prior to making any significant changes to a program.
Responsibilities- Client Delivery:
- Facilitate sections of strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
- Ensure customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
- Lead technical project teams in delivering consulting services
- Drive objectives, requirements gathering, project milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery aligned with business objectives
- Break down problems into manageable segments, identify influencing factors, and determine approaches
- Create and edit project deliverables
- Present deliverables to client executive management
- Business Development:
- Support business development efforts through client discovery meetings to qualify opportunities and develop proposals
- Represent service offerings during sales cycles, including scoping, proposal development, and client presentations
- Practice Development & Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of AHEAD Advisory services, including consulting and deployment offerings
- Act as a technology thought leader and evangelist
- Maintain broad knowledge of current and future IT trends, technologies, and standards
- Mentor team members
Qualifications
- Minimum ten years of experience as a senior information technology leader
- Minimum of three years of executive technology consulting experience
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to solve complex, abstract problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening ability, and capacity to connect with diverse personalities
- Executive presence
- Proven experience as a technology change agent
- MBA is a plus

The compensation range reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE), including base salary and target bonus, which may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
