Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support accounting advisory engagements across technical accounting and reporting.

Senior Consultant | Accounting Advisory | Texas (Remote) | Full-Time

An accounting advisory firm with a growing US practice and a varied client base is looking for a Senior Consultant to join their team.

The engagements here are substantive. Clients come in mid-acquisition, preparing for an IPO, navigating a carve-out, or working through a restructuring, and they need people who can think clearly under pressure and produce technical accounting work that holds up to scrutiny. This is not a preparatory role. You will be in the room with experienced advisers and senior finance leaders from day one, contributing to engagements that matter.

What you will be doing:

• Support accounting advisory engagements across technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction-related projects
• Work alongside clients through acquisitions, divestitures, IPO readiness, and other strategic events
• Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation
• Work directly with CFOs, Controllers, and finance teams on accounting and reporting challenges
• Contribute to the preparation and review of financial reporting deliverables
• Take part in client meetings, workshops, and project planning sessions

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years in public accounting, accounting advisory, audit, or transaction services
• Active CPA licence or actively working toward certification
• Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience on technical accounting or transaction-related engagements
• Good communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with clients and colleagues
• Analytical and genuinely interested in developing within a client-facing advisory environment
