Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Construction Controls Manager to lead AWP and WorkFace Planning for a multi-billion-dollar capital project. You will drive integration of EWPs, CWPs, and IWPs, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to improve productivity and schedule certainty.

The role interfaces between field execution and project controls, ensuring auditable progress reporting and governance across all construction areas.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of industrial construction experience.
• 10+ years leading Advanced Work Packaging and WorkFace Planning on major capital projects.
• Experience on projects exceeding $500 million TIC; mega-project experience preferred.
• Experience in Owner, EPCM, Program Management, or Construction Management environments.
• Professional certifications: PMP, CCM, PSP; Lean Construction; AACE certifications; CII AWP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the Owner's AWP and WorkFace Planning program across a multi-billion-dollar capital project.
• Integrate EWPs, CWPs, IWPs, and turnover packages with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations to project leadership and steering committees.
• Governance and oversight of EPCM contractors, construction managers, and trade contractors to ensure consistent AWP practices.
• Drive improvements in labor productivity, schedule performance, and readiness for turnover.
