Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Training Program Manager to develop, implement, and coordinate targeted training initiatives for the Columbus division. You will work with BU leaders and SMEs to define needs, design content, and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities include LMS record-keeping, reporting, and vendor management, with travel as needed. Strong communication, organization, and instructional design skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited program and minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in construction industry is a plus.
• Familiar with instructional design and development practices.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to maintain confidential information and exercise good judgment.
• Excellent spoken and written communication; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BU Operations Managers and SMEs to identify training goals.
• Communicate required training costs and confirm training compliance.
• Design and develop training programs with materials, modules, and assessments.
• Facilitate engaging sessions and adapt delivery to diverse learners.
• Coordinate scheduling, materials, facilities, and equipment for sessions.
• Maintain LMS roster and track registrations, attendance, and evaluations.
• Generate LMS reports and share performance metrics with stakeholders.
• Apply evaluation methods to assess training effectiveness and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with external facilitators and vendors; review proposals and contracts.
• Collaborate with BU HR and Knowledge & Learning to support strategies and plans.
