Qualifications

• Enrolled college/university student in a relevant field with at least 1 year completed.
• Must be 18 years or older to work on site.
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as determined by assignment.
• Interpersonal skills demonstrated through leadership, volunteering, or community involvement.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend written information.
• Able to work independently, with direction or in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Follow project site safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Attend site visits and observe construction activities.
• Assist with information preparation and distribution for contract requirements to relevant parties.
• Assist with preparing estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
• Help with communication to trades and subcontractors to track schedules.
• Support with quantity take-offs and project data gathering.

Education

Enrolled in college/university, Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management, 1 year completed

18 years or older

Desire to learn construction management

Commitment to work standard hours + overtime

Interpersonal skills (leadership/volunteerism)

English communication (verbal/written)

Ability to read and comprehend written information
