Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent; related degree preferred.
• 7+ years surveying experience; 2+ years as Crew Chief or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license; CST II preferred; Drone License 107 possible.
• Advanced knowledge of surveying practices and equipment.
• Proficient with Trimble and data-transfer workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a wider range of field surveys within project scope and budget.
• Supervise and direct other survey crew members.
• Interact with project site supervisors and client field representatives.
• Prepare detailed field notes and daily activity reports.
• Perform in-field calculations for stakeout and land surveys.
• Review data validity and troubleshoot GPS/radio issues.
• Mentor field survey staff to promote advancement.
