Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in surveying and layout engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, tolerances, and building codes.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings, shop drawings, and lift plans.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and overseeing surveys to establish construction layouts and control systems across job sites.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, and lift plans.
• Ensuring compliance with construction sequencing, tolerances, and building codes.
• Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Validating field conditions and providing as-built documentation as required.
• Maintaining survey logs, field notes, and digital records per QA/QC standards.
• Managing assigned equipment and procuring consumables used in layout operations.
• Collaborating with team to ensure quality and precision in all projects.
• Proactively identifying and solving problems to prevent delays and cost overruns.
