Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Superintendent to serve as the primary on-base point of contact for project employees, subcontractors and clients. You will provide onsite management, coordinate resources, and maintain customer relationships to meet project goals.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction supervision, a bachelor's degree preferred, and OSHA 40 certification. This full-time position is based in Boulder, CO and involves field work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction with emphasis in superintendence on mid to large scale projects.
• USACE experience is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred; extensive experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provide calculations on hours, develop schedules, and estimate materials and resources.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on requirements, scheduling, and subcontractor issues.
• Ensure onsite safety compliance and bring issues to safety, HR, or Project Manager as needed.
• Directly supervise field activities for mid to large projects on assigned base installation.
• Schedule and coordinate activities, supervise crews, and maintain quality, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
• Review crew time sheets and submit to Payroll on schedule.
• Identify priority projects or problems and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Officer and Site Safety Health Officer for project success.
