Job summary

The Construction Superintendent at LiRo-Hill oversees site-work activities for a Riverhead, NY project, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality in accordance with contract documents and building codes. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors to deliver results that meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Enforce safety policies in line with OSHA and company standards.
• Prepare daily site reports and maintain project documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays.
• Monitor costs, labor, equipment and materials usage.
• Communicate project status with Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists and final inspections.
