Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead and coordinate our New Construction team on complex projects in the Maryland/Baltimore area. This role focuses on overseeing overall site operations, sequencing, manpower planning, and subcontractor management to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in superintendent roles, a construction-related 4-year degree, and proficiency with scheduling tools. LEED accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in an accredited construction curriculum or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of superintendent or construction-related experience.
• Experience with scheduling software/tools.
• Experience on offices, government, hi-tech, hospitality, healthcare, retail or multi-family projects is a plus.
• Experience leading projects from $50mm to $100mm+.
• LEED accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of all job site operations.
• Supervise field staff.
• Maintain relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and PMs.
• Coordinate with inspectors and utility reps for compliance.
• Enforce safety and quality control programs.
• Develop and update master project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain short-term schedules.
• Lead weekly foreman meetings.
• Resolve day-to-day field issues.
• Prepare daily manpower and activity reports.
