Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Superintendent for New Construction in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on overseeing general construction operations, scheduling, manpower forecasting, and managing subcontractors, while leading a project team and collaborating with Project Management staff.

The ideal candidate has extensive superintendent experience, proficiency in scheduling software, and a track record of handling complex projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE) or experience equivalent.
• 10+ years of Superintendent or construction-related experience.
• Experience with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general construction operations on a project, including scheduling and activity sequencing.
• Manpower forecasting and placement; manage subcontractors and trades.
• Lead a project team and collaborate with Project Management staff.
• Develop and update master project schedules; prepare detailed short-term schedules.
• Lead weekly foreman meetings and resolve day-to-day field issues.

Education

4-year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE) or experience equivalent
