Job summary

Hausmann Construction is seeking motivated Construction Superintendents to oversee day-to-day on-site activities for multiple projects in the Norfolk area. The ideal candidate will lead teams, ensure work is completed on time and within budget, and uphold safety standards.

We value candidates with at least five years of supervisory experience, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and relevant safety certifications (OSHA is a plus). Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a Construction Superintendent role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office; OSHA or related licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including scheduling and quality control.
• Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, construction workers, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets company and industry standards and specifications.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues or delays that arise during construction.
