Job summary

Hausmann Construction is seeking motivated Construction Superintendents to oversee and manage day-to-day on-site activities for diverse projects in the Norfolk area. The successful candidate will lead subcontractors, enforce safety, and ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, strong knowledge of building codes, and proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site activities from inception to completion.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and on-site personnel for efficient workflow.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure work meets company standards and specifications.
