Job summary

Chesapeake Search Partners, in partnership with a leading Residential Construction Group, seeks an experienced Site Superintendent to join their growing team in Annapolis, MD.

You will oversee day-to-day field operations from ground-up construction, coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries, maintain safety, schedule, and quality, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Superintendent on residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Experience working with subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive job site.
• Proficiency with scheduling/reporting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily job site operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and manage quality control efforts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project updates.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and proactively resolve field issues.
• Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.

What You'll Do
