Job summary

Overaa Construction is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations in the Bay Area. The role focuses on coordinating crews, managing schedules and ensuring safety and quality from mobilization through project completion.

As a key company representative, you will collaborate with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners, driving productivity, safety training, and on-time delivery while upholding Overaa’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred but not required.
• 5 years of project experience in scheduling, ordering materials, field supervision, quality control, safety and production.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all project construction field activities.
• Direct and motivate field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
• Create and maintain a weekly construction schedule and co-create the project’s master schedule.
• Proactively and collaboratively work to solve problems.
• Maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, coworkers and project stakeholders.
• Manage self-perform activities and track productivity milestones.
• Order materials, equipment, and schedule inspections.
• Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards.
• Ensure all company employees, contractors and site personnel adhere to company safety policy.
• Complete all Overaa company safety training as required.
• Create a jobsite logistics plan and maintain an organized, clean, safe job site environment.
