Job summary

HiEmployment Staffing Services seeks a seasoned Field Operations Leader to oversee construction field activities across projects in Hawaii. You will direct crews, supervise subcontractors, plan schedules, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while managing budgets.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 5–8 years of vertical construction leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (equivalent industry experience may be considered).
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in vertical construction with leadership in field operations, supervision or project execution.
• Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, schedules etc.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, site logistics, safety requirements, quality control and resource planning.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, specification and schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience with construction software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct field activities in coordination with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, vendors etc.
• Develop and maintain short and long term schedules.
• Lead and support Foremen and field teams to drive accountability, teamwork, productivity and execution.
• Review project specifications to ensure proper planning.
• Promote and reinforce compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Support hiring, coaching and performance management of Foremen and field team personnel.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors and internal staff.
