Job summary

Sun Construction on Hawaii Island seeks an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field teams and deliver projects with safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a full-time position focused on commercial construction and hands-on leadership.

You will coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors, ensure work is performed safely and on schedule, and develop the crew while maintaining high craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar field leadership position.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and details.
• Experience planning and coordinating manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Turn plans into successful projects, working with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Lead the crew, set daily goals, assign responsibilities, and ensure safety and productivity.
• Plan ahead for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to stay on schedule.
• Own the work by monitoring productivity, workmanship, safety, and schedule.
