Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent II to coordinate, plan, and supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities within a discipline. The role focuses on developing customer relationships through excellent service and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will plan and supervise site activities, review plans for constructability, and coordinate with design engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Engineering or 10 years trade experience.
• Minimum 8 years construction management or related experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resources to support the project schedule.
• Review documents for completeness and constructability.
• Coordinate with design engineers to resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and manage three- and six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead on-site orientations and project meetings.
• Supervise craft teams and interview/hire personnel as needed.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and ensure performance.
• Ensure proper timekeeping and track progress.
