Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent II to coordinate, plan, and supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a project area, while developing and enhancing customer relationships through excellent service.

You will plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule, review documents for completeness, and coordinate with design engineers to resolve discrepancies. Travel up to 100% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction/Civil/Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or 10 years' trade experience.
• Minimum 8 years of construction management or related experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement materials, equipment, and inspections to support the schedule.
• Review documents for completeness and constructability.
• Coordinate with design engineers and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and manage project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Lead site logistics and manage Mortenson tools and equipment.
• Supervise craft teams and conduct performance reviews.
